Regional Landfill: New lined landfill cells​, construction of a bio-solids treatment facility, new landfill gas collection system, expanded transfer station, permitting and regulations.

Water System: Numerous water line replacement and upgrades, transmission lines, distribution lines, booster stations, operational pressure valves, water fill station, water tank rehab.

Water Treatment Plant: Well rehabilitation, new emergency power, and switch gears, new variable speed pumps and new backwash supply tank.

Waste Water Treatment Plant: new floating digester lids, emergency power and switch gear, SWPPP permit operation and updates, automatic self-cleaning screens.

Sewer Collection: Numerous Sewer line replacements, pipe lining, and upgrades.

Storm Water: Storm sewer line repair, line rehabilitation, line upgrades, regional detention pond management, ski resort water collection pond to be used for snow making and stream bank stabilization and restoration.

Surveying: Topographic Surveying and Mapping, Preliminary and Final Subdivision Plats, and Replatting, Legal Descriptions, Right-of-Way and Easement, Construction Staking, Property Boundary Surveys Retracement, Flood Elevation Surveys and FEMA Forms, Architectural Site Surveys, GPS Machine Control, Horizontal and Vertical Control Networks.

Roadway: Road reconstruction and rehab, pedestrian pathways and underpasses, ADA compliance and retrofits, wildlife and stock underpasses, grading plans, parking lot layout and design, intersection design, and corridor studies.

City of Casper Balefill Gas Collection and Control System

Edge Engineering is providing construction management/Construction Quality and Assurance for the City of Casper and Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality for the installation of a Landfill Methane Gas Collection System at the Casper Regional Landfill 108 acre closed balefill. Construction cost for the system is 1.59 million. 

The project is approximately 2/3’s complete with all methane wells drilled and completed, all lateral piping installed, header pipe installed, 4 condensate sumps installed. The project just went into winter shutdown and will start back up in March with the flare/blower site to be constructed and the flare/blower to be installed. The system is anticipated to be complete and online by end of April or beginning of May.
